Im not sure what the problem is? They havent been able to tell me yet! Its been there since monday with no info??? Im going to call today to check on it! I only mentioned the E-tec because I have always had evinrude motors until this one! I was ok with it until the issue. Now it is really making me regret the motor. What kind of trade up deal??? Lol seriously

It cuts out on the take off, with a quick beep like its missing. Once it plains out it does the same thing without the beep. Just like a quick miss. Wide open it runs. I sure wish I had a 250 H.O though. Would be very happy. No offence to the merc guys.

I love my 09 adv. elite. I have a 225 Pro XS hung on the back that is excellent! I am running 79 right now gps with the cooler water. Hoping to hit 80. I have nothing bad to say about my merc. But if I could at all possible have a chance to put a new 250 H.O on the back I would. But all in all I am absolutely pleased with my rig and wouldnt change a thing! You WILL be pleased!
