I read on here that basscat suggest using a 24. Is that right seems small for a p2. 2007 model
Thanks Sherm.
Thanks Phil, do i use the measuring guide posted on this board a few weeks ago?
I will try a trophy… I thought I read on here that the trophy does better with a p2, is that correct?

What props are other p2 family members using??
I have talked back and forth with bass cat today and they feel it is my driving. It has done it with 3 different props. I will rule that out. I feel something is wrong with the hull or the hydraulic steering. From what I read on the internet it seems like it is blowing out. That should just not be possible with this boat and at that speed. I cant imagine it is my driving, trim, or engine height. I have too much experience behind the wheel for that to happen, plus I have had a pantera II for 4 years. I have only have had this one for six months…. but it is a new problem. And yes the prop height that I am running at is correct. (did extensive measuring to make sure)Well it sucks (because of the drive) but I am taking the boat to sherms and we are going to drive this dang thing and figure it out. I dont even want to be in the boat when this happens… It is scary. The problem is I dont want to try to duplicate the issue…. At least on the water… Sherm said he is not scared though . I will leave the driving up to him.Well, I will keep you posted. If it is my fault I will admit it… Im not that stubborn. I fish a basscat out on the Fox Chain. There are at least 4 new cats running around out here in the tournaments.
So what do people think of a Pantera II with a SHO 200. Is it worth the extra money??
Just doing a little research and as little as I would use the talon or the power pole, I was looking into the bracket that you mount to the boat and the spear you put in the bracket. You could just store the pole (spear) in your rod locker that you slide in the bracket. Very popular in Florida it seems for flats fishing. What do you think about this $150 alternate?
Dont you mean upper 70s?
I like the “?” after ooops.
Not new to the family, this is my fourth. Bass Cat proud! Cant even think about what else would compare to a Bass CatLast edited by badhabitfishing on April 15th, 2011, 1:24 am, edited 1 time in total.
I cant remember if I run a 26p Fury, then a 25 trophy should be right then?
I am just south of the border in Antioch, IL. I have a year end Classic for Big Bucks Bass in Madison on September 29th, 30th, and October 1st. No problem on giving you a ride if you can show me some spots on Madison Chain You can also come done this way anytime. I used to fish on the Winneconne Chain, but have decided not to this year because of gas, bla, bla, bla. Anyway give me a shout!
