I run a 250 with the 6.4 and I love it but I also pull a 36 camper trailer with it but with the gas mileage I get with it compared to the gas burners it plays out the same for what I pay for the deisel fuel but the cost of the maintenance will kill your wallet when the oil changes are costing you around 100 plus the fuel filters and so. If I had the money I plan to buy me a gas burner for pulling me boat and just riding around town

The bass fishing is hard here on the delta. The water is tidal and you will find that the best it gets is stained water and a 6lb. bass is a large fish for this area. Most of the tournaments are won with around 14 lb. bag but the up side is we get to fish all year. You can travel just to the other side of the dam whether Coffeeville, Claiburn, or Millers Ferry and there you can get into clearer water and much larger fish. From Fairhope area you are looking at about an hour drive so its not to bad. Plus the Fairhope area is a nice area to live in. Hope this helps.

Check your voltage on your batteries if there low it can throw an alarm until the alternator can charge them
