Have you considered the wireless remote? I wear it on a belt clip, the kind with a retractable cord, and it works all over the boat. In my opinion it is much better than the foot control. I have been using it for about a year now.

Too expensive??? How much did you spend on your boat? Electronics? Gear? Best bass fishing item purchased in years. I have had mine installed for a little over a year now and wish I would have had one on years ago. Two would be great but one works fine, just gotta adjust a little. Just Do It!!!

I too have had the exact same issue lately. I recently had the lower unit serviced. I thought my PSI was higher and the stream of water more intense. Here is what I was told, PSI will not show until higher RPMs. Expect 15 to 20 at high RPMs. Yamaha works on volume of water. Aint heard that one before but ok. I have had no issues with overheating and everythng seems to be fine.

Lest we not forget crankbaits are also designed to give off vibrations of a different sort than those of the abundant baitfish. Color helps, yes, but I have caught fish on clear or white no finish crankbaits and topwater baits as well. Everyone will have their confident bait n colors to throw. I like fire tiger in the early am light and lavender shad color later in the day on our lower Colorado River lakes. I know other guys utilize colors altogether different. I am not a fan of Ikes but I am sure he is doing what he is supposed to do besides catching fish in a tournament, make sales for his sponsors. Good Fishing!!!

About three years ago we (my wife and I) decided spend a little $$$ and replaced the carpet and seats on our 99 Jaguar. Had to get a new motor too but thats another story. The boat looks new again. Seats are MUCH BETTER than the bench. Also as side note to other topic, we NEVER waxed our boats, only Pledged em and seldom at that. Finish still looks “almost” new today.

I have 2000 Jag and replaced the bench style seats with newer style about two years ago…..Should have done it sooner.

We bought new a 90 or 91 PII. Had it for 9 years and cant think of any issues with the construction of the boat. Just normal wear n tear issues with latches, hinges n such. It had a Pro V 150 and ran at 63mph tourney load at 1,200 above sea level. Loved that boat. Love our 99 Jag just the same. The one and only bytch I have with this one is two leaky compartments. Awesome rides.
