I am retrofitting a mount off of a different boat that was made for a larger hole in that boats console. I am have to either drill holes in the existing holes in the sherms mount into my fiberglass in my console which I prefer to not do. Alternatively, I drill new holes in the sherms mount to align to the hole in my console. If I understand you correctly, you utilized the edges of the 90 degree lip in the back plate to caddy corner the hole in the fiberglass console to act as a wedge prevent movement .Thank you for feedback; it is appreciated.

I will reach out to sherm I would have preferred a new mount but the time is against me I need it now with white perch season fixing to kick off. Thanks Mr. Brag Sherm may have additional tips for retrofitting a mount designed for a slightly different boat with a larger graph hole than the one I am installing in

Yes I am talking about the Smart Strike chip volume 3.0. In a recent video KVD said humminbird sunk two boats and bent numerous props but this volume has completely mapped Toledo Bend. We are staying there from November 09 to January 09 with a lot of that time crappie fishing. Just wanted some good firsthand feedback

Oldtimer57 the 3 bank is covering that area on 1 side screwed to transom and on the other side the power block. Have you or basscat boats ever seen one mounted in a small area in front of the gas tank in a little covy hole?

BassCat boats somewhere along the process of the brakes being bled after the master cylinder install a film of brake fluid escapes the top cap and got on the surrounding metal at the factory. This has resulted in extensive corrosion on a trailer just a little over 1 year old
