I just put a new X-27 on mine and its doing the same thing. I called the factory and they said to make sure the unit is getting 12 volts. The voltage that the unit shows on its screen is only 10.2 ish, so Im thinking that when I crank the big engine, theres a slight drop in voltage, thus turning the unit off. Im just starting to dig into this problem, so if you find something before I do, please do post it. Ill do the same. Rod
