I have a 2018 Lynx with 250 pro xs (2 stroke).  I have owned the boat since 2019.  I have tried numerous props for the same reasons.  I don’t care about top end speed as much as hole shot and handling.  I have found 4 blade is the best for handling.  I have no problem with hole shot without a full livewell, but during tournaments and full livewell hole shot is tough.  The boat came with a 25 pitch fury 3 – good top end speed, terrible top end handling, good hole shot without a load or livewell full.  I heard Bravo 1 XS 26 pitch was the way to go so I bought one and it would not get me out of the hole with a load and empty livewell.  I tried to plug a few different ways with no luck.  I tried a friends bravo 1 FS 24 pitch (with the four large holes vs 8 small holes on xs). This is a great prop without a full livewell.  It struggles with any water in livewell but handling and top end was acceptable 72-74 mph or so.  I think this prop with some extra vents for more Rpms during hole shot would be great. One of the blades cracked on me this spring after bumping a stump so I bought a Bravo 1 XS 23.5 pitch thinking going very slightly lower on pitch would improve hole shot but not sacrifice too much top end (70-72 is fine for me).  The hole shot is perfect with 1 plug or two with holes, but top end suffers I believe.  I fished one short tournament out of it in somewhat choppy conditions so I could not test top end very well, but I don’t think it’s much more than mid 60s.  For my hull, I think the bravo 1 XS 24-25 pitch may be good.  Keep in mind, I run a heavy load with a full tackle shop in the boat and usually a partner with me on the big water of Toledo Bend.  Open for other suggestions as well.  Thinking about trying a rev 4 23 pitch also given the beefier blades for Toledo stumps.  I tried other 3 blades as well without luck.
