It may be unique to the Classic, but I too had similar problems. Ive put a lot of boats on trailers, and the Classic was by far the most demanding. On my ramps, I usually put the outside bunks just below the surface of the water as a start point. If the trailer was any further back, the boat tended to drift from side to side, and wouldnt sit on the bunks when I pulled it from the water. More often than not, I could drive the boat up within a few inches of the bow roller. I had to exit the boat and stand on the tounge, while my partner backed the boat down a couple of feet SLOWLY while I cranked on the winch strap (not the safest feeling.) Again, it may be unique to the Classic, because I now have a Sabre FTD and no longer have any problems…

The front deck/ pedestal layout in a BassCat is way different than other boats. For the first few times I felt like I was going to fall off the front. After a short time, it seemed normal. There is a P2 at Riverside Marine about 70 miles South of you. I have a 2014 P2 and am exactly 100 miles South of Glasgow.

Check the Sherm mounts available from Sherms Marine. It covers the existing hole, places the new unit slightly above the steering wheel, and is designed specifically for Bass Cat boats. They have pictures on the webpage.

I would take a look at the Genesis bows. They are infinitely adjustable, and will grow with the archer. Its also a decent quality bow and you can get it in a kit.

Question: I have an old lowrance transducer epoxied in, and now have a humminbird at the console. (The old transducer is a blue end.) From looking at the pictures on the motorguide website, the adapter has pins (male) as does the existing transducer cable. Am I missing something or will I need something else to connect the two?
