Hey Ben a good friend of mine turns a 26 trophy nicely on his p4 with a 200 opti(2 guys full gear/full tank 71 gps)- so much so that I wish I had the same prop on my p4 with a 200 ho (di not etec). My boat will turn the 26 raker(not raker II) upto about 73 mph with me alone and all gear 1/2 tank or so. Took some getting used to but it will flat out book once you learn to drive it and get enough air under the boat. IT IS ROCK SOLID at this speed. I would however get the 26 trophy or 27 trophy as discussed above because I think the top end may be even better than my raker- not to mention better hole shot and easier to drive on the top end.C.O.D. I have heard simple green in a little bit of water- let it sit for 30 min and then rinse it out-

Nope it was me last year. I am not always known for being patient..C.O.D. Jr. III
I wonder if the black one scratches less or more than my yellow one. Heck I can get the color off but the scratches are a bummer. Hanging upside down while cranking on the nose of my p4 with Meguiars #2 is tough when it 95 degrees out.C.O.D. Jr. III
Congratulations Mr. AOY. I for one think you’re adoption was timely for both parties involved and anticipate good things for both.
And while I havent been your most ardent supporter- who cares what I think- really! I’m just some dip on the internet who hasnt even won a club tournament!
Welcome to the family and we are ALL glad to have you. Know that we will all be pulling for you and if we can help we will.
And as an bonus for joining the family you can now enjoy such benefits as all the free pickle baskets from Arkansas you can stand or free ear wax removal. Please see Doug Swann for redeeming this gift….

Could you email pix to a friend of mine that is looking? The email is [email protected] like a good boat that will boogie-WardC.O.D. Jr. III
I own a p4 and my t partner runs one as well. I have driven with a 26 trophy, 26 raker, and 26 tempest. the trophy seemed to run best SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the 3 blade props. My partner runs the 4 blade 26 and the plate is so low it is near the limit of the steering bar with trimming the boat up for the transom saver. That boat ran 70 tuesday night with a full tank, and both of us in it. My experience with the trophy is that the bow lift is a less dramatic feeling with the trophy but that prop really lifts and holds the ENTIRE boat up better than the 3 blades and is less load dependent. Both of my 3 blade props I run by laying on the trim up button after out of the hole, the boat will eventually “hop” up once and I tap it down once and I am gone. 73.9 gps yesterday…I imagine the 3 blade might give the bow up position you’re looking for but the flatter ride of the trophy is just an all around better performer for the 2 p4’s I fish from. As for the hydraulic plate, the manual is so easy that I don’t see the benefit overriding the cost difference for me in Arkansas.
I can speak from personal experience that this is the only boat that gets wiped down as much as my own.AND IT WILL RUN!C.O.D. Jr. III
My friend managed to join the family with a pIII. Thanks for all the help-C.O.D. Jr. III
