Clarification, motor is running 3.75 inches below pad. I’m not sure where I got the other measurement, but the 3.75 below is what I just measured out. The motor was level on flat concrete surface, so it’s an accurate measurement.Has anyone ran the TXP props? They are a smaller hub prop that will blow out on the hole shot unless all the ports are plugged and the exhaust ring is installed. However, if this is done, the Merc doesnt have enough low end torque to get up on pad (the prop bites too much).To clarify, the TXP prop carries the load very well running, but the hole shot is the main issue, with the WOT trimmed out handling the other. FYI, I’ve already had it up to that “floating” feeling at WOT, so I believe I can handle the boat just fine, I just want to tweak it out a little more.Any ideas in the motor height?
