The SI series have a transducer that is mounted through hull (XPTH 9 HDSI 180 T) that has a stem that goes through the hull and is secured from the inside. the only thing that is seen on the outside of the hull (step up) is the housing for the SI transducer itself the wires and retaining nut are on the inside of the boat. I have pics if you can help me post them.Last edited by drharvey on September 27th, 2011, 2:27 am, edited 1 time in total.
not understanding completely. would like to understand, will reread…… I am thinking of using the acc. switch that is new to the 12 models next to the foot pedal (Trolling Motor) as a power source for the switches. When needed turn on acc. when not turn off. Also have the remotes so its only for convienance. I looked at the foot switches and i am going to silicone the hole in the bottom of the foot switches to avoid moisture.Last edited by drharvey on November 15th, 2011, 6:01 am, edited 1 time in total.
oh, yea. that would be an option too. I guess i was thinking i needed at least one place for a step to enter the boat from the ramp. I was looking at RAM components and they have a 1 1/2 inch mount that has two balls (180 degrees opposite) that might open the hydrowave option up to other than rod box.
Thats funny, normally i boat flip. That was why i had a big net, hard to boat flip nines. Regardless i need a net even though i have not seen a nine since falcon.
http://www.tacklewarehous…ets_/descpage-PRPMN.htmldoes anyone know if this will fit?
all my fish want to get in the net and the boat. Why else would they bite my bait? But seriously, with the fold away net, why have a fold away with the handle retractable also. you said the handle can be up to 69″. Do you retract the handle and fold the net to put it in the net storage? do you think the promar net (that i posted) will work?Last edited by drharvey on November 16th, 2011, 3:14 am, edited 1 time in total.
thinking about it further. i definetly want the longest handle i can manage to store effeciently. i crank alot, and a long handle helps in the thick pads and grass as well.
wasnt stolen as i had just been looking at it fishing. Am about to buy a new one and was looking to save a few bucks if someone was wanting to unload one. Humminbird would only offer a small discount and said they have never heard of one coming off the quick release. Weird!
