I came from a family owned Tool & Die shop that my father owned for 35.5 years before he retired. About 1989 I ran into (while looking at another brand) a Bass Cat Caracal. I did pretty much the same research as bass1958, and compared the “Family” to the others, liked what I saw and the way things were done. I was sold, for the last 21 years I have never looked back. The service, with the 1 and only major issue I had was resolved in 1 phone call and w/in 24 hours. Rick you and the rest of the “Family” are just as reliable as mom and dad!!! Glad, no proud to be a member of this exclusive group. Thanks for everything!!! I still remember the day I woke up and you were beside my Cat at the Kentucky Lake Dam, for the nationals for ABC. It was like a dream, to see the Bolt on the truck I knew who you were long before I had the pleasure to meet you. By the way my 1999 Cougar w/ the 225 EFI is still running 74.7 mph on GPS, and still looks like it did in 99 after I bought it from Pat Kowell. Thanks again!!!with respect George Gilmore.

I bought my 1999 Cougar from Pat Kowell at Martys. Just had my district championship over the week end here in IL. 225 EFI tourney load wells full and 1/2 tank of fuel and she still GPSed at 75.7 mph. Just seems to be like wine and just gets better with age.
