Thanks BCB, Makes sense…Just cant figure out why Im losing ground at the hinge bolt all of a sudden. Like I said, I get a good twelve volts when I check the first light socket with a voltmeter and ground to the negative cranking battery post. But when I ground to the hinge bolt I get nothing. I even stretched the ground wire over to the negative post as well as any other piece of metal it could reach and still no lights. Im not a brain surgeon nor an electronics genius but I think even I should be able to figure this out . Im sure its something simple.
