I just got two 998s. I got the ram mounts but had to get a $50 with shipping 2″ square plate ball mount. Im going to place it just to the right side under the trim and speedo. I too want to leave the one that is in dash. It will cover the speedo but who cares the gps covers that.

I have a 05 Sabre and I just spent $1, 900 on the bottom of the boat and had a keelgaurd installed. I just saw how bad it was scrapped up, its only been a few times since fixed. I believe that the front cross members hitting it wile loading or unloading. Never had a issue like this with any other boat/trailer? Any advice is welcome! I load with the water line about 3 to 4 inches down on the rear fender well.
