I have a 2002 Cougar that I just purchased! Any one got feed back on this model. 225 Mercury Has anyone changed out the 3/4 ldj bushings in the seat base ?

Can you buy direct from factory or do you have to go with a dealer?

Take a sharp 3/4 inch bit run it through the bushing. It should fit better. A little grease or silicone might help also.
