I have replaced all anodes twice. One person posted ways to test the grounds. I believe it involved testing across the batteries some how.

I have a 96 P2 with a 150 efi merc and since I put a 24 trophy on it performs quite well. Probably about 60 on the top end, but that prop did wonders for the hole shot. 2 people full tanks, and 2 tackle stores and it still has a pretty good hole shot. This obviously gets even better as you burn fuel off. If your not to worried about top end I feel its quite adequate. Hope this helps in your decision. Good luck, Neil.

Im going back to regular mono and saving my money. I tried it for the better part of two years and I think it not as good as the old stuff. I was interested in it because I fish mostly clear water as its supposed to be invisible.My catch rates have not improved. I pulled out a combo that I havent used for quite a while with my old mono and it was stronger than some of the floro I had just put on a few weeks earlier! I guess they have to come out with something new and IMPROVED every year! Just my .02 , Neil.

I was planning on replacing from the tank to the switching valve and from the valve to the engine. I believe they are the original. I have checked under the hood and they appear to be ok but I will double check. Mercury 150 EFI. Thanks for the reply guys. Neil.

BT, I have only been there once so I cant give much help to put you on fish,but what a lake! We fished a small club tournament and won it , but all our fish came out of one little cove. We were the only ones to find decent fish , but everybody caught a ton of fish. Let me see if I can find my old map and try to help out. I really like the time frame you picked and with the length of your stay, the weather should cooperate sometime in the 2 weeks. Enjoy your trip and good luck, Im jealous! Neil B.
