Call the parts depatment at BCB, they will send you one. My new 08 Sabre FTD had one that was cracked when I bought it. I had one on my doorstep in about 3 days.

Factory rigged, 787C2. Just went out to check and its still dripping. There has to be some logical explaination for this. No way there is that much water in the transom thats just over 1 year old. Additionally my boat is always garaged when not in use.

For those of you wonding what the heck I was refering to about this, if you see a recent pic of KVDs nitro you will see thie device on his motorguide. Anyway and an exhaustive search I found it. Seems that this was something nitro makes and installs on their boats. I contacted the parts department at the Concord, NC BPS and one went in the mail for me yesterday. Hope to have it tomorrow and will post pics as soon as possible.

leftydave, I had the same exact problem with the garage that you are now facing about 2 years ago. I was in a 04 Triton Tr-21 and traded down to a 08 Sabre FTD. Like BamaCat I too got one maxed out on the options. I can tell you from the last 2 years of experience that the only thing you will do without is the speed. My Tr-21 would run 72-73 all day long, my Sabre FTD with the 150 Opti runs a respectable 62-63 with full load and me at 240 lbs. I have fished big water from Lake Murray, SC to Lakes Gaston and Kerr in NC with absolutly no problems at all. At no time did I feel any less safe in my 18 footer than the 21. Having owned 2 Tritons before my Sabre and having the 2 years to pick apart every aspect of my BassCat, I will never own another brand. Downsizing for me has not been a problem and I have never looked back.

Will definitely be checking them more often. Just glad I got them when I did, hate to think what kind of damage there could have been. Not sure what may have caused the fricton material to separate from the backing plate like it did. The pads still had more than 2/3rds material left on them. Bled all the old fluid out and replaced with new while I was at it.
