Thanks for the info about the carpet. Will give that at try. Also already busted center light. Will cut off one side as shown in post. Hope carpet will make motor end easier to remove. My saver looks just like the one is your post-full lenght, not a shorty. Motor end just too tight on lower unit of motor.

You are right about the farm equipment. I never have trouble with battery drain on any of that equipment. Didnt think about that with boat engine. Will get a disconnect today and place on cranking battery. I believe you stated on all positive wires except charger wire. Thanks, ramblinrek.

Yes, I do some crappie fishing and this boat will work great. I also have no problem sitting on a good bluegill or shellcracker bed and catching those out of a BassCat. I felt that thru bolting the bases would be better. I just wanted to hear from other owners. What about anchor mounts? Any suggestion on those? ramblinwrek.

I have already replaced guage. That has made no difference. Water pressure does not increase with sock on motor. Only time motor showed any pressure at idle was at dealer when he tested motor while intake was submerged in tub of water. Showed about 15 lbs. then. He figured nothing was wrong. But as soon as I returned to lake water pressure was back to 0 and does not increase until I reach about 1900 RPM. After that trip was when the guage was replaced. Next trip to lake last week resulted in same situation-no pressure reading until reaching 1900 rpm and then begins dropping after you go above 3800 rpm.

Thanks, guys. I was wondering if it would be able to be epoxied in the same place. I had rather try that than have to remove all the hoses and pumps to clean the area to install in another place.
