Thanks, I believe your right. I just watched a video on hot foot installation and seen the part.
The above poster was right. I made the same switch on my previous boat which was not a Bass Cat. Everything I read said the holes should match up. Mine did not and I even removed the side plate to access the additional holes and none would line up.
You might not need the silicone. Because the Fortrex is suppose to have hole that will match up with a motor guide.
