Great looking rods. I am curious as to the warranty.
What does the step up look like? One cooler or cooler and day box?
Prayers are certainly sent. This is painful reminder that no matter how much experience you have behind the wheel, accidents can and do happen. Always, and I mean always, wear your PFD whenever you have the big engine in gear. Rick – get better soon.
Jason – Sounds like the above should determine the status of your charger. Sorry to hear about your TM cable. Maybe it is your boats way of saying, “take me fishing more.”
BCB – Any chance you can post the model number of the lester chargers you carry so we can look them up on the Lester web page to see what exactly you are referring too? Thanks.
Quote:We dont stock the automatic models, we use the ones with a timer and they shut off at the setting. What is the advantage using the timer model instead of the automatic one? The best I can tell from the lester sight you are referring to model 0961 for 36 volt applications, or is it the 14100? Also what plug option do you carry?
Congratulations to the winners, and thanks BCB for hosting. I look forward to playing again next year.
Mark – I had a Swivl-Eze Lock N Stow you mentioned and I am going back to the transom saver which is why I need the clips. The Lock N Stow (according to my local Mercury Mechanic) weakened my transom bracket leading to its failure this weekend. The right side of my transom bracket sheered off while running. It sheered at the last hole. At a tune of $620 for parts and labor, I will go back to the tried and true method of the transom saver. Actually, I should have listened to BCB and never switched to begin with. An expensive lesson for sure.Phil – e-mail on the way. Thanks.
Thanks Phil. The check is on its way.
The buckets look great, but you may lose the water tight integrity of the under seat storage you have w/ your bench seat. Others may be along soon to tell your there opinions, but I remember several previous posts addressing this issue. If I recall correctly, BCB indicated you may get water under the seats. Post pics if you do it.
Jay – now you need a picture.
Great looking seats! I am glad to hear they remained dry. I may have to consider upgrading my bench seats if others also have good experiences upgrading to the buckets. I just dont want to lose the dry storage.
Jay – No need to spend the exta $ for a different prop. 69 is great w/ two people and Tournament load. Save the $ and put it towards plane tickets to come visit & fish the Potomac. Or towards another set of tickets to Kodiak before Kieth PCSes- maybe this time Ill be able to join you. Or towards tavel expences to fish the OI. Plenty of better things to spend you cash on then getting another mph or two.
The more I look at those seats the more I like them. A few quick questions – 1. Does the center seat lift up in its entirety, or does the back/step need to be up and only the seat portion lifts up? 2. Is the stripping surrounding the seat boxes a new addition to the conversion keeping them water tights or was this on all seat conversion, even the early ones? 3. What if anything would be different for the bucket upgrade on an OO Jag over the above 01 Classic. 4. How are the seats secured? Screws through the vinyl like the bench seats or tabs? Thanks.
Sweet, thanks!
