Boat hasn’t been in the water since last year.

It seems to be condensation as it’s all over the lid and my soft plastic bags, but being in the shade and no direct sun, I’m not sure how’s its building up that much in just a few days

Pvs plug are out on both props aswell as vent rings, full throttle and it won’t build past 3400rpm.

It’s on a manual plate so that option isn’t available to me unfortunately.

To my knowledge from the past owner, Rick himself set this boat up with this prop, it does run well wide open, real well in fact. Just with 3 full tanks and livewells, it isn’t happy lol.

Will report back after I try the 25p tempest available to me.

Im not to familiar with the Lynx, but People want wide front decks and i can see why the puma sts has taken hold of that market share.

Coming from a Ranger and being new to basscat, the first thing i had doubts about is how narrow my puma ftd is, i had the boat for nearly 2 months before hitting the water (i live in the great white north) and everytime i looked at it, i wasnt sure.

Having said that, i love this boat and will absolutely buy another, but it will be an STS model because i do miss the big wide front deck, there is just no going away from it, space is nice to have.

I can see the caracal STS edging out cougar sales now because its now long enough and carries width along with it.

Scorpians just seem to run the best with suzukis, try a 25p as they are sized bigger, it will run more like a 26.

Friend of mine has a 150ss on his triton and tried 3 or 4 different props, all running like yours, 52-56mph

The inside looks solid, outside is as well, it just seems to be the top cap.

No movement when moving the motor, went around and checked all bolts, everything is tight.

Its a 2005 Puma, im the 3rd owner but know who it came from.

I know materials back then got changed due to epa regulations, perhaps it is just that.

Thank you very much, that is all i was looking for and knew you would provide it.

Customer service goes such a long way.

I have sent overall pictures to my local dealer back in august, i reached back out to them at the end of sept and they said they are just waiting to hear back from your end, ( wether this is true or not i do not know) but i will contact them again with this.
