    Is this an individual or partner tournament? If partner do they have to be a basscat owner or just the boater?

    very curious to hear what people say. I am running two 31 series on my 2008 Cougar FTD. At first I thought my batteries had gone bad because the light would show green but my batteries had very little juice. I hooked them up on manual charge and have not had any problems since. I thought their was a problem maybe with the on board charger. I have still not had a chance to bring in the boat to have the charger tested and looked at.

    I am confused on the BCB post. Are you saying there have been problems with the BCB on board charger and spiral cell batteries?

    One other thing is I have the Pro Pak III three bank charger in my 2008 Cougar FTD. In my previous 2007 model boat I had a minn kota three bank charger and never had any problems charging the optimas. What makes me think there is a problem with the on board charger is when I put a manual charger directly to the batteries it puts a full charge on them. I will charge the batteries with the on board charger overnight and it will indicate green but it is like there is only a half charge on the batteries.

    The boat is very stable and from what I hear was the design used for the larger bay cat boat by BassCat. It does not have pedestal seats but it is an option from BassCat. You could order the parts to put pedestal seats in the front and the back. I will try and email you a picture. Call me if you have any questions 256-541-2054

    I just did this and used just three batteries. I have three 31 Series Optimas and have never had a problem. I fish heavy grass and stll no problems with just three batteries. If you buy a Minn Koya it comes with a jumper with a 50 amp breaker

    How can you overfill? I have always filled until it came out of the top hole slightly.

    I currently have the mod wheels. However they have been powder coated gloss black. They look pretty cool my black bottom cat with Merc but thought I might also have a standard wheel color.
