I really would like to run bigger graphs at the dash,  but I don’t want to have my view blocked and I don’t want them sticking out the sides of the console.. I think/hope these 7’s will be enough.

I considered leaving the 7 and balzout mounting a 9 beside it just as you said. As weird as it sounds the asymmetrical nature of that set-up  would drive me crazy.

I decided to go with BBT dual dash mount and run two helix 7’s rather than one 10″. The boat came with a Helix 7 MDI that I will use for sonar and I’ll grab a Helix 7 MSI for side imaging. The mount will allow me to upgrade to dual 10″ graphs if I decide the 7’s are too small. I have a Garmin 10″ livescope and another 9″ si graph upfront.

The 150 PROXS 4 stroke is absolutely fantastic- it’s quiet, it sips fuel as long as I’m not full throttle, even then it’s good. On tourney day I can run our 14 mile lake a couple of times and use under 3 gallons.
As far as speeds go, boat empty  with 1/2 tank I’ve seen 64, but I run the tank full 99%  of the time as I fill up returning from each trip.

Full tank, tourney loaded with a partner I’m struggling to hit 60…. it runs literally at 59.8

I sometimes wish I got the 175 4 stroke for the extra speed…
How much fuel do you use?

I fish a lot, minimum twice a week and have always wondered how much more I would be paying with the 175.

It’s a 24p Fury.
Speaking of torque- The wheel has ALWAYS been pretty hard to turn left when trimmed for best speed.
If I trim it where there’s little to no pressure on the wheel I’m doing MAYBE 40at WOT.

I have a 2020 FTD with two Helix 7’s at the dash on a BBT mount,one at the bow,  150 proxs 4stroke with 74hours. 4″ trailer, fiberglass step box, 112ultrex 36v warranty until august of 2024 and a few other upgrades. Meticulously cared for stored in garage.
