Need help

2010 Puma FTD. The more I think about it I dont think the waves had as much to do with it as the pounding the boat was taking. I was in 5 to 7 foot waves continous for about 10 minutes and might have jarred something loose. Now everytime I hit a wave hard my HDS 8 turns off then reboots without me touching anything.

Now thats the funniest thing I ve heard all year!!!! A Ranger in 7 footers is nothing more then a cork in the ocean!!!

Have to give my man “the bug” a hard time. I saw 5-7 footers and couldnt resist. Must have been a carnival cruise ship headed up river that day. As for bassman, that cork, doesnt take waves over the bow and everything in the boat works so ranger must be making some pretty good corks. Oh yea, my boat is 7 years old and his is 1. Legends, one at at time. LOL.

Grenada was at 207 and rising Tuesday and we got a huge rain last night and its still raining. I hope it will get up to 215 or so soon.

Yeah its Ferracci talking trash. As for the waves last Friday the wind was 25 with gusts up to 40 out of the south. I crossed the river it was about fifteen and gusting to 40 coming back. When you have the Mississippi River at flood stage as it is now it is flowing 5-7 mph SOG from the north. Add a south wind with gusts to 40-45 mph and it is a very dangerous situation. The only reason I even came back is because I had the keys to my truck in my pocket otherwise I would have called someone to drive around to Arkansas and get me. The only reason i took waves over the front is because something got knocked loose and my jackplate quit working. I couldnt get it all the way down.ImRickJames is a boy named Chris Ferracci from Clarksdale. Im taking this like a man because he beat my a#$ fishing this weekend. Nothing like knifing a guy in the back and then pouring salt in there is it buddy?As far as the Ranger vs Basscat comment I had another Ranger owner riding shotgun with me. The river Sunday morning was rough to say the least and we probably passed 8-12 barges going to Greenville (about a 60 mile run). The boy had a 2-3 mile head start on me but I caught him at Arkansas City. Look on the map and you do the math. Doesnt matter though he still beat my butt fishing and Im still burned up about it. Chris, when I got my first Puma I had a Ranger owner say he would bet me $1000 dollars he could beat me from Clarksdale to Greenville (100 miles) on the river in a twenty mile and hour south wind. I told him I would give him a ten minute head start. He is my fishing partner and after riding in these boats for a couple of years comments like these arent made anymore. And I know of a few more of you Delta Boys who were all over Ranger for years are looking hard at Cats now (some of the same ones that are egging Ferracci on)!! Im by no means knocking Ranger bc if Basscat didnt exist that would be my ride but hey they do exist and I would own nothing but!!!BOY!!!! Ouch Ferracci!! Chris you got to have real thick skin to fish with us!! And dont wear your feelings on your shoulders!! I know youve seen this stuff in the last couple of weeks on more than one web site but truth is we are all good friends just getting jabs in when we can. He knows his is coming and I will be the first to admit I started it last week. Im being a good sport about it. I better not see any more jigs come flying into the shower – “BUG”
