Thanks BCB. Is that just a standard plumbing expoxy I can find at the hardware store or will it need to come from a marine specialty store? @basscatpuma3 – Nothing along the lines of expoxy or wire cover plates came with the unit. Needless to say I was a little disappointed by this….. Ive purchased $150 HB units in the past that came with more mounting accessories than the $2K HDS did……
Got me a condo at Rayburn Country, which is my usual spot when staying at Rayburn. Both the condos and motel rooms are first rate, plus theyve also got a super nice new club house with full restaurant and bar….. Cant wait for the 2013 OE to get here!

It will probably be within the first 2-3 of the graph.Only problem with that is the first 8-10 is going to be up inside the hull/top cap until it gets to the console, then the same until it gets inside battery compartment. I know theres some inline “push button” type fuses in the battery compartment area, but none of them are tripped and all other electronics are working fine. The only two options left is either the inline fuse that is shown in the owners manual or the head unit is shot. Its the original X125 that came on the boat, so its obviously a possibility the unit just gave out as well….
Didnt realize you could test with multimeter….. Thanks for heads up on the apdriver and tab2005! Ill pick one up today and try that tonight, then decide whether I need to search for blown fuse or my checkbook…..
Thanks tab2005!!!
Order one with a SHO and eliminate the need for oil………
One of the condos just became available at Rayburn Country, as I had to cancel due to unforeseen work commitments. You can call them 409-698-2444 to book it.
Those appear to be Transducer Shield & Saver brand brackets. BCB has them for sale on their parts/accessories page or you can order from any place like Tackle Warehouse, Bass Pro, Cabelas, etc. I mounted mine to the jackplate as well. Simple and clean install to say the least.
I mounted my Ram Mount on the inside wall between console and outboard controls. Allows plenty of room to still access A10 touch pad, along with outboard controls and steering wheel.
Any chance you would just sell item MinnKota Maxxum 74 #4355 for a “Buy It Now” price?
Had to take boat off market. Last edited by Andrew Winkle on June 13th, 2013, 2:35 pm, edited 2 times in total.
Yeah, its a 2005 3.0L EFI. Boat is located in Houston,TX
Ive got that same motor on my PIV and it has roughly 170 hrs on it now. Runs like a top week-in and week-out, plus makes a nice loping grumble at idle speed.
Thank you Rick for taking the time out of your schedule to give your customers an inside look at the state of your business today. Not just your words, but ultimately your action to carry them out, is what gives me the confidence to spend my hard earned money on another BCB boat when the time comes in the near future.Regards,AW
Thats funny because first thing I thought was, “Sweet, look at the P4 on home page”… Followed immediately by ” wow, he is aired way the **** out”…. Obviously done for photo and testing purposes I imagine…. Yes, over the past 4 years with my P4 as well Ive found it runs smoother with less bow lift. I fish a heavy recreational boater lake thats bulkheaded and often rolling from all directions and have discovered that it hugs the water and runs super smooth with no trim when wakes are rolling from all directions….. Great boat and part of me will be sad when I move on to a Cougar FTD……
