Just went to Bass Pro – Bolingbrook IL. They did have them either. Man all I wanted to do was to get out for a few hours a fish since I havent taken it out in weeks. Its always something. On a good note – at least I wasnt on the highway doing 55 mph and it decided to go… I will check with parts tomorrow. Everyone Thanks and have a good Sunday.Go Bears.
Thank You both for the quick reply. I feel better now that you have explained that. Sam
Thanks – I will try it. sounds like a long project to complete but it should payoff
I have a 2000 single axle trailer and had same issue. I switched out bow rollers and went with the clear Stolz brand to eliminate the scuffing. (Bass Pro Shops) But you should back trailer up until water is at the top of fenders as stated below. Have not had a problem since. hope this helps Sam
Kent – thats pretty awesome. Looks like I will be going to Home Depot & Golf World this weekend. Could you please pass on the details. Thanks Sam
Kent – Thanks I am going to start the project today Sam
Dan, You can also visit the Bass Pro Shops in Bolingbrook IL. They can provide some information regarding weekend tournaments etc. Many small clubs in area will fish lakes like Braidwood, Heinecke, Shabbona, and even the Desplains conservation area (Illinois, Kankakee river areas) I live in Bolingbrook so if you would like meet at BPS let me know. Sam
I am heading to Eagle River on Wednesday – Sunday. Staying on a small lake named Bass Lake first then going to try another lake called Snipe for Muskies. Weather should be good until Saturday when rains comes in which should make the muskies active. Bucktails on weed edges have been working well, soon the wood baits will turn on. Sam
Chris, Thanks for the info. I have a buddy that works at the local Marina who is helping me. The tempest I really like as I get out of the hole pretty darn quick and the top end is good. just wanted to see what all the hipe is all about. I need a spare either way. Appreciate the info. Sam
Thanks everyone. Appreciate the input. I have the CMC 6 inch manual jackplate. I am going to mount the TD there. Just hate like heck to drill into her. 2000 Classic with a 200 Merc EFI – she is still new and well taken care of. Too many girls fastpitch softball and volleyball games with my daughter. No time to take the kitty out. Today she felt water – that is I washed her off from the winter grime. Looking forward to taken her out for the first time next week while on vacation. Of course I will also be installing the new unit!!!ThanksSam
This is the best news I have heard in a long time! I am excited to say the least. I live in Bolingbrook IL which is a short drive from Spring Valley. Much closer than LOZ where I purchased my current boat a few years ago at Martys Marina. Frank I have watched your show for many years. I was on Lake Delevan WI a few years ago while you were taping a show. My daughter and I followed you in that rain storm…Look forward to seeing you at Spring Valley. I might have to purchase my Christmas present early….I was going to upgrade in the spring! I have a 2000 Classic with a 200 Merc. Love the boat today as I did 10 years ago. Great boat, Great Company and the Greatest Family!Welcome to the Family!Rick Pierce – Thank You!Sam Gallucci
