I am running a 26 temptest on 225 optimax/cougar ftd. I know I still need to do some fine tuning but I am running 72 mph(gps) fully loaded/1 person(drops to 69 with 2 people) turning 5600 rpms. Great holeshot and top end.

I have been using the brighter yellow roller. It is softer and will needs to be replaced about once a year due to getting worn down but it leaves no marks and does not scratch the gelcoat.

I know BCB has went back to the black ones due to scratching on the bow front from the yellow ones. But if you keep the yellow ones clean, I have had no problems.

Bilge area, if you leave the bar of soap in this area. Assume not a problem with the pumps having some soap run thru them when you run the bilge pumps?

FWIW: I have been using the brighter yellow roller lately. I have had not recent issues with chipping out the gelcoat by the hook. The original yellow one was harder and I had issues.

I add a 1/2 gal frozen water jug about every 2 hours plus about 4 hours into the day, I empty my livewell about half way and refill with fresh water plus run the pump on a 1 on 3 off ratio. This seems to work great.RWP

Agree, with Basscat. I had a chance last week to talk to Jason at the legends in DarDanelle. I was fishing with Dave Wolack and waiting to weigh in, Jason came by and talked to Dave for about 30 minutes. Jason is a true spokesman for the industry and very knowledgable about the sport of fishing.RWP
