RJ, Atfer you have completed the steps from unclebigred, make sure and place the pins back into the empty holes so as they dont walk away or get lost. My 2 year old decided to hide mine from me once when I just left them laying on the trailer frame, made for a frantic few seconds early in the morning trying to make it to a derby.Good fishing!Chris

Guys, I run the Motorguide 109 36 volt and from the first boat I had until now, I have gotten into a steady habit of when I pull my rig out of the water, I turn the speed control on the foot pedal off and I turn the switch on the side of my pedal to the off position and then unplug the motor form the bow. This helps during charging but also when working on the boat if I lean on the pedal or hit I do not have to worry about it coming on when in the stowed positon. I have not (knock on wood) had any trolling motor ussues with my Motorguides to this point, they have always been strong and not a bit of trouble. This is a habit I got into thanks to some frineds of mine and it works for me.Chris

I met John about 4 years ago at the ICAST show, the annual fishing trade show, John impressed me back then and still does. I have followed John each year on the trail and I am very excited to see John running a Cat and a PRO XS! Congratulations to Basscat and to John as well!

BCB will have to chime in on the imtermittent problem, I apologize. Tipmaryland, I run a Puma and pull it a 2001 Ford Expedition, there is a relay that needs to be purchased from your dealer, it’s rather cheap and worth it in the long run. It goes under the hood on my 01, I am sure your 02 is very similiar. I looked in my owners manual and found the missing relay spot, it is either #201 or 203, both deal with trailer lamps and the 203 is the backup trailer lamp. It did not come installed on my 01 Expedition. I purchased it (part# F57B-14B192-AA) from the parts dept. at my local Ford dealer, it is the same as the other relays in the other spots and since installed it locks out the brakes everytime as they are triggered by the reverse lights if I am not mistaken. I can back up in any situation flat or steep without an issue. Hope this helps, check out your owners manual, if you have trouble let me know, you can email me direct at [email protected]

    Thanks and hope this helps,
    Chris

Gemini does a great job making one-off shirts at a reasonable price and they look great. They did my Strike King jersey which is on their site and Todd Witts Okuma jersey and boat wrap for his Puma. They have done several Basscat guys like James Niggemeyers and a few others. You need to call them direct to get the order placed, cant design it yet on the site but I hear its coming. Thanks,Chris

The floor graphics Gemini has are like large stickers, peel and stick. Once they are down though they are down. I have used them some and they are great. If you were at the Classic in Birmingham back in February I had them on the floor in the Strike King booth, neat stuff and seem to hold their colors and not fade as badly as some. Definitely an option. Give them a shout, thier contact info is on the site. CB

These are hard to come by, I found one a year or so ago at an Autozone and bought one before that I believe at Bass Pro. The longer Master Lock is what you need and they work great. Hard to find though and i wont trailer without one.

Mike is right, Sexy Shad is just the color combo and name of the bait that KVD founded. The color is available in Strike Kings Series 3, 5 and 6 Cranks as well as the new Red Eye Shad Lipless bait we make. We honestly cant make them fast enough as a # of large retailers like BPS, Dicks, Gander mountain and whole host of others have placed large orders. Some online companies like Tackle warehouse have ordered a bunch as well. Keep looking, I dont even have them in the warehouse, they literally come in one door of our DC and leave out of the other door almost they day they arrive. Thanks,Chris

We had a slight coloration difference on the first run, that is all solved now. Great looking bait, I myself am looking forward to getting some and fishing with them as well.Chris

Mike, I am running the same rig and have yet to have the time to do alot of playing with the set-up to get some real #s. I will be spending quite a bit of time on the water over the next couple of weeks and will let you know what I can run. Thanks, Chris

Guys, noticed the same problem, but what is funny my front gps was an hour off while my main unit on the console was dead on accurate. I am bad about not realizing the actual time on the water so as to make sure my wristwatch is accurate to the tournaments “Official Time” I also have a Timex Ironman watch velcroed to my steering wheel, most will laugh but (Knock-on wood) I have yet to be late. Fished a tourney Saturday and left my last spot with what I thought would be pushing it time wise, trying to get every last second in there and I obviously forgot I was in my new FTD with a 250 Pro-XS, what I thought was a 5 minute boat ride was actually less than 3 minutes, man I love this boat. Last thing on time, My phone obviously was misprogrammed as well, I use my phone as my alarm, went off an hour later than normal Sunday morning and missed church. Bad deal for sure. Will make sure I am ontime thie week though!
