New to bass cat family, trying to figure out how to post a pic. These are some great looking rides!!
Interesting, good information to have here.
Yeah, these are sharp for sure. Gonna need to find a way to make this happen in my boat for sure. Really like the new design! Good job BCB!
Tip of the hat from me to for Allan! He responded within 30 minutes for some parts I ordered recently, and had a question about. Unmatched service in my opinion. This is just another reason why I waited to get my dream ride from BCB.
Well, as far as fun discussion goes, here’s something that makes all cat owners smile, at least I would think. Me and a co-worker both got boats earlier this year, he had his new “S” boat a couple months before I got the new Cat home. A mutual friend went fishing with him several times and told me how much he liked his new boat, especially the ride and fishability. When I got the new cat home the same friend went out with me and went fishing and riding around with me. He said it’s night and day, fit and finish is top notch, he just hasn’t been exposed to the Bass Cat experience. He keeps saying how lucky I am, and I agree! Not to mention getting all the compliments at the ramp! That’s always fun!
Very nice!
It is the orange wire, if anyone needs that info.
That’s what I was afraid of, thanks guys. I can’t complain, that thing fits like a glove, which is what it is supposed to do obviously. I made the swap, therefore I need to make it work for the swap I made to it. Appreciate it gentlemen!
Good to know guys, thank you for the information! I’ll get with Aurora this next week.
Got a friend who really wants more info on this boat. Phone number????
This is something I have been very interested in for some time as well. If I ever do order a new one, I would love the option for no carpet and personalize with Sea Deck. I understand about not going around the lid ends, but all the boxes are sealed. The only thing I’m not sure of is the lid finish on the ends where the Sea Deck wouldn’t cover(small detail). However, to me, wet carpet drives me crazy. And carpet stains run a close second. I know, to a degree, both of these can be controlled, and somewhat self inflicted obviously. With that being said, with Sea Deck, which doesn’t absorb water, would keep the deck a lot drier much faster. This would also prevent the possibility of mold and that damp musty smell that seems to arrive after fishing in the rain all day and being put up wet. Also, with Sea Deck, you can layer several colors on top of each other, you know, like the colors of your boat, and I think that would really bring an already beautiful bass cat to another level of eye candy so to speak. Not to mention, when its time to clean it, spray it down, done. As was stated before about the changing seasonal weather in winter and spring, I have no experience with this stuff either and don’t know how it reacts to those changes. And, I’m in no way knocking the carpet in my cat!! I am very happy bass cat uses the carpet they use. Would like to know if any of the coastal guys on here have an opinion, seems there is a lot more of this stuff on the coastal boats currently. Just my 2 cents guys, but I like the look of it, its padded, don’t hold water, endless design and personalized options, easy replacement if ever needed vs. carpet. Pros and Cons to everything, like to learn more about it, would like to hear more of the Cons.
Dang, didn’t know it would be that high, that’s pretty steep right there. Definitely a Con with a 5K price tag.
