i didnt know i would start such a stir that post has been up for a while. But honeslty, who knows about the verado? I have the opportunity to take over payments on a P2 with a verado but i have no friends that have one. I just know what i have read on the internet. Who has owned one? The pros and cons. Thanks.

Where on Lake Norfork do you have the reunion and tournament? Its a big lake. I would like to take off and come no matter when the dates are. I live in Texas but my family is in Conway and Calico Rock. Somebody Fill me in Thanks? I am a first time owner. I just bought my first basscat a few months ago and i love it. It blows my friends skeeters off the water. Thanks.

i had the same unit in my 05 basscat before i upgraded to the HDS. i had the same exact problem loading the wrong lake for me too. Its the GPS reception, for some reason the 332 has alot of problems even after i downloaded the lasted updates from Lowrance i still had problems, finally broke down and replaced it with the HDS. i have been happy ever since.

I have the 31m as my cranking battery and 3 27s for my 36v motor guide , I run a 8 hds up front and a 5 at the console with the lowrance lwx antenna plus my 2.5 Mercury 200 i never have had a problem once i upgraded my 27 optima to the 31 for my cranking battery, I used optima because there lighter and you dont have to worry about checking the water all the time. Rough water and batteries chargers make you loose water sometimes. But some people think agm batteries dont charge full like old fashioned batteries on some chargers.

i have a 05 classic i put a 5 hds in the dash to replace my 332 lowrance and i put the 8 up front, i didnt want to ram mout anything on my cat at console unfortunatley the classic and sabre have 5″ models on console. i have structure scant and the lwx antenna also ,and all networked. i think i made a good descion upgrading the unit up front you only have to drll a couple extra holes for the mount so it keeps your boat looking more original if you plan to resale or trade in
