I would spend time in Glade, Long Branch, Rogers and Birch. Like Judd mentioned, secondary points are always good. I also like to fish ditches leading to the flats especially the ones with Hydrilla. My partner and I caught several fish in 2 of water yesterday on one point. As far as baits, I would throw what you have confidence in. I usally toss traps (crawfish colors), wacky rigged plastics (watermelon/red w/ tail dipped), dropshot (watermelon/red w/ tail dipped) these baits are for numbers. For larger fish I throw a 1/2 Jig or 10″ power worms. Good luck and enjoy your stay!

I was out there yesterday fishing a Media Tournament. We struggled but did manage to cash a check. We caught all of our fish around mid lake with weightless senkos and wacky rigs. Hydrilla was (as always) key. We did see a good number of fish on beds but they were either in the slot or were not commited enough to protect the beds. Good luck on your upcoming trip! Spend some time at the hump north of 2946 as well as the submerged 2946 roadbed where it crosses the creek channel. It would also be worth spending some time checking out Italys Sock. As far as baits I would throw Drop Shot and Wacky Rig.

Glad to hear you caught some fish. My favorite place to stay is at KD Bryants place(903-473-3018) . Its the best and least expensive place around the lake. You will never have to worry about your gear being stolen out of your boat at his place. Clean rooms, common kitchen, BBQ grills and “FREE” ice. Give KD a call nect time.
