Thanks for the quick reply. And to the best of my knowledge the widest point of the P2 is 93″, correct? Man thats a tight fit!Last edited by Jake B on May 9th, 2010, 4:46 am, edited 1 time in total. My CatI Am Second

They are like family, we are all cut from the same cloth, though we all have our own characteristics.Granted that could be the issue, but nearly a three mile difference is pretty steep-IMO. I wouldnt think you would see that much of a difference in the same model boat with virtually the same set up. Admittedly, Ive never owned a Bass Cat (thats about to change), but I have owned several “R” boats that were the same models year after year. There were speed differences, but never that much of a difference with the same set up. Its got to be your prop. Im looking at getting the same thing just single console. What is the length of your boat from front to back (including engine). Did you get the swing away tongue? My garage is right at 22. And also.. How did you modify your garage door (any pics)?. Very interested in getting some tips on how I can widen my door without having to put up one big header that spans both doors..Thanks again. My CatI Am Second

Very interested in getting some tips on how I can widen my door without having to put up one big header that spans both doors..Thanks again. It will be easier just to make one big door instead of trying to expand your current doors. I had the same problem after I ordered my boat since I had 8 doors and a 22 deep garage. The depth is not a problem as I have about 5 inches left once you swing the trailer tongue around. The door width on the other hand was a hassle at first but it is nice having one big door since it makes it much easier to back in knowing you have plenty of room on either side. But that scares the hell out me! lol. I have a huge gable over my garage. It just scares me knowing that in order to add one big header I have to build some sort of temp wall or supporting wall to hold up all that weight in order to remove the two smaller headers. Im also worried that I would have to remove some of the siding on the front of my house in order to remove the existing headers. But I agree with you, it would be so much nicer just to back that thing in without worrying about having enough room… Now if only I wasnt a chicken!BTW.. Did you have a professional do the modification, or did you do it yourself? If it was a professional, what did they charge you? Thanks My CatI Am Second

We did it all from the inside of the garage and nothing was changed on the outside other then the center post between the doors. lolHiw did you support the opening after the original headers were removed… Did you build a temp wall? After watching the video I think it has great potential to attach itself to the floating oil, but what do you do about the oil that is below the surface? In the gentlemans own words.. “the hay will always float”… Dont get me wrong.. Anything at this point would a better resolution than what BP has accomplished, but I dont see this as a definitive solution to capturing all of the oil. And to be quite honest, given the huge scale of this disaster, I dont think there is one.My CatI Am Second

It has a 4 blade trophy (not sure of size yet). What is the best set up for this rig and what kind of top end am I looking at? It also has a Hot Foot and Ive never owned a boat with one before. Im not even sure how it works… Im assuming you put it in gear with the hand throttle and then accelerate with the foot pedal. Is this correct?ThanksMy CatI Am Second
