The two changes that I would love to see for the Puma FTD are: 1. Cup holders within reach of the seats 2. Cut-out in the consoles for rod tips These are obviously very minor and are not problems at all. Just an inconvenience but definitely not a deal breaker. Ill be ordering mine in the next few weeks hopefully. Cant wait to join the BCB Family!!
I just looked at BCBs Facebook page and it appears that one of my wishes has come true.
The lower end of the lake is pretty much wide open. You can run where you want. The Navionics maps are very accurate on this lake and the river channels are very easy to drive. On the north end, if you get out of the river channel youre taking a risk. Ive never fished it in November but the frog bite is INSANE in October!!!
Ward,Which cooler are you using. The step-up cooler to the front deck or the one in between the seats?
Just wondering because Ill be the proud owner of a 2011 Puma FTD in a few months and Im trying to figure out where Im going to store everything. Im ordering a single console and was planning on using the cooler in between the seats more as my glove compartment and keeping the drinks in the front cooler.
This was originally a concern for me too. Im buying a PUMA FTD very soon and I fish shallow water a LOT. If you recall, Iaconelli didnt seem to have any issues at the Red River Classic in some extremely shallow water while fishing out of a PUMA FTD.
Ill definitely post pics as soon as I get it. I have to admit that Im not very creative when it comes to designing my own boat colors and I usually keep it pretty simple. With that being said, I basically ordered the exact same colors as Sneezy Beltran. Sorry Sneezy, but when I saw those colors it reminded me of a Champion that my Dad had a few years back. When clean, there was not a better looking rig out there. Im going to drive up to the plant and pick mine up as soon as I get the call so I can also tour the facility.
My Puma FTD is ordered and hopefully will be ready for pick-up by the end of Sept or first of Oct. Ill be there as long as I dont have any prior commitments. Im lookig forward to it.
The dimensions of the net compartment are as follows. These are not exact but its pretty close.Length of compartment opening – 22 1/2″Depth of compartment (top to bottom) – 22 1/2″total length (end of handle to outer loop) – 66 1/2″
I see. Ill be there in a few weeks (hopefully sooner) to pick up my boat (BASV0996H011) and Im looking forward to touring the plant to see the process from beginning to end.
When I talked to you a month ago you said you had found two in the 42K range. What happened there? I still have mine for 45K
