I love my Lester. BC advice to get one was the best charger advice I have ever had.
Bottom still jumps around when both are running. Troller does not factor in. I did put it on fixed depth and that seems to work but would rather leave it on auto. I have another MG with built-in sender but dont yet have adaptor to plug in the H-bird. Will look into to that as next step. Thanks everyone.
Thanks for ideas. Turning off unit on dash takes away information for fellow in back of boat. Using ethernet does the same. Kevin Short has great transducer protector for the troller using pvc pipe. you can see it on his walk around video of his Eyra. I guess I will buy a new transducer for troller.
Raising motor vertically will improve hole-shot and take away a little top-end.
I have had all 3 models. If you would like to ride in my new Eyra, I am at the 35.5 MM. My boat has the best hole shot of any I have every driven or been in. The ride is a bit different but no problem at all in the rough Lake O. It cuts the wakes nicely and lands very softly when you hit a big one. You would be pleased with the Eyra or with either of the other two. Mr. Rick pointed out to me that the Eyra is a “different animal.” And it is. One sweet ride.
When one of my on-board chargers failed Mr Rick suggested a Lester charger like are used on golf carts. It is not built in but carried in my truck or left on the dock. It has been very reliable. You might check it out on this board including what Kevin Short says about it in the video walk around of his boat.
Ladder on my new Erya is best. Hot up here at Rainy Lake and we have been using the ladder after jumping fully clothed. Even fat old 72 year olds.
This is a great ladder on my Eyra. Use it often during this heat. Easy for my 72 year old muscles and my old friends. The grab bar above the ladder makes it very easy.
Comes out of the hole faster than any boat I have driven or been in. And planes well at very low speeds. You need to have someone take you out for a drive. Lake of the Ozarks 35.5 MM if you are near. You or anyone else welcome.
Been using Lester for 6 years ever since Mr. Rick recommended it. Lester is the real deal. Never fails. Sooner or later built-ins will bite the dust. Take em out and use a Lester.
