Previous owner ran without it. I did for a few outings. Now it is back on…doesnt do too much on my year. A better holder of my stuff on the dash. Without it, all my stuff falls onto the front deck and blows away. Pics on profile page of both on the trailer. Looks fast like a speedboat without it and the seats down.

The 2005 and older Bass Cat trailers have narrower fenders than the new ones so I would not go any wider than 8 inches. I wanted 18s but couldnt find any that would fit that were less than $200 a piece. I kept the same overall diameter as the original 215/70/15s by going with 225/55/17. Make sure you check the exact tire that you want to buy because not every manufacturer has the same diameter for the same stated size. If anything go down in diameter as the factory size can occasionally rub the fenders when you hit large bumps I ended up only paying about 300 dollars more to get new rims and tires than just replacing my old tires because the 17s were alot cheaper than the white letter 15s. If you buy from discounttiredirect.com they will ship for free and give you free mounting and balancing. Good luck in finding some that you like. I like that bow double roller system you have up front. How do you like it compared to the standard, much improvement? BTW awsome motor! Your boat is just plain sick!

Also what tires does BCB now use? I want to get new wheels and tires too. I have the old 10 hole ones, not nicer ones like yours. Would rather save up for that hydrolic jackplate and Mercury250R NCStatefan has…Bet she doesnt sip the gas though!

I had a wonderful time with the group…many nice boats and owners. Should have taken more pictures but was gettin ready to launch and fish. Wish I had taken pics of everyone on the water waiting for blast off! Sight was unreal! I did however win a lunker plunker, wich was nice, since I weighed in a small limit for 19th. lol Thanks to Chaz and Steve for making all this happen. Thanks to BCB for the support and my new hat. Not sure who to thanks for all the free gifts, but thank you very much for all the support and my lure! Sad it is all over…My favorite color scheme I saw…Yellow and white!

Since you have the older seats, a locker-bar would not work. You can always get yourself a nice pitt bull. Nobody comes near my boat unless in my company.

Nice catch. I am trying to find a friend to go out there with me this week. Want to throw those California Swimbaits…Wake JR, Lunker Plunker, and Hoochiemomma in the early morning. I just tie them onto my 8 punch rod with 65lb. braid and hang on!

Our tags say max 285 hp. I was wondering how our hulls compare/differ? I did notice our overall weight was different. Reguardless…his has a 225 merc carb and I have a 225 merc opti. So far we love our Bass Cat Boats!

My horn is non functional too. Have a 00 Cougar that I bought used almost 2 yrs ago. Well kept boat, just one issue…the horn never worked. After some research, I found the horn is missing/removed from behind the grill. Guessing the prior owner had the same issue. I am looking for a replacement now! Have seen the ones in the BCB store, but havent bought one yet. Any sugestions on a good horn, that will not break the bank?
