http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI … MEWAX%3AITI see you have it listed in EBAY. Also, some comments on repair. Any pictures of the fiberglass repair work which needs painiting?http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Thanks! I hadnt tried the build version of NADA and didnt see the link until you pointed me that way. It looks like $17,500 retail is about right.http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Got it! Thanks!http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Top water early or a Rattle Trap style bait will net you some good fish. Once the sun is up the fish will head to deep water drop offs or humps. Carolina rig in a watermelon seed is the bait of choice during the day. Deep cranking also yields solid bites; especially if you turn on a school. They call the fish “u-haul” bass because with the lack of hydrilla/weeds the fish are constantly running the creek channels and popping up on the next hump. I got my Bass Cat coming next weekend and you will find me on the Lake every spare second! Shoot me a line if youd like to pair up sometime.http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Great connecting with you Rick and all my prayers for your son to recover quickly. When we spoke I mentioned using sea salt tablets. No chemicals and unlike iodized or sodium rich salt tablets sea salt is actually beneficial. Here is a link to the company: http://www.americarx.com/Products/12750.htmlAlso, for you high blood pressure readers use a granular sea salt (buy at any store these days) and grind it like a pepper corn shaker. Sea salt actually lowers blood pressure.Best to youhttp://www.vrbo.com/297770
Ward – I am addressing two seperate points; 1) Sea salt tablets help the body retain water safely without the chemicals and arbitrarily high sodium levels in the old salt tablets 2) Nothing to do with being in the heat but sea salt actually lowers blood pressure. Do a google search on all of the studies and enjoy your meals with some sea salt http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Not my first rodeo, but it is my first BCB. On most boats Ive owned there is a latch for the clip to go through. I see a round button looking below and to the rear of the throttle. I am thinking this is it. How does the switch connect? Thanks for the help!http://www.vrbo.com/297770
JSLAW wrote: The round button thing should be a breaker. You should have a kill switch just below the throttle…standard toggle kill switch, and did you verify the fuel selector was in either the right of left position and not the off position. Thanks JSLAW. I will check that first thing in the morning. Im sure once I look under the throttle I will have a nice chuckle at my stupidity and get out on the water for my first Bass Cat ride. http://www.vrbo.com/297770
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/ac … etail.aspxSo I suppose I need to find the lanyard with the attachment that holds the button out.http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Yeah its a 2008 motor. Thanks again!http://www.vrbo.com/297770
I read on another post that Bas Cat hulls dont like high trim settings? I have a hydraulic JP and would like peoples input on how you relate jack plate height into the trim settings as you search for top performance.http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Maybe it holds Ring Free? Come on…. some one has to have this also.http://www.vrbo.com/297770
2008 250 Yamaha 250 HPDINot sure on the Battery Charger Brand. I will take a picture of both items in question and post. The trolling motor still runs, so I guess the 4 battery system bypasses a dead batttery?http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Bass Cat Boats wrote: The charger probably has a fuse out or similar issue. Check batteries and reverse leads to verify operation, etc. The canister is the fuel filter on Yamaha engines. Will do. so what is the tank with a cap under that canister all about? Again, Ill post a pic this evening onceI make a run to the marina. http://www.vrbo.com/297770
Heres a pic of the thing some think is a fuel filter. The tank seen at the base has a clear but off color liquid in it. Last edited by RandyTaylor on September 6th, 2010, 12:11 am, edited 1 time in total.http://www.vrbo.com/297770
