Can you send me a picture or two? Does the prop have any scratches or other damage? I am seriously interested. If the prop is as new, then I will pay your price. How much to ship to KY?

I too faced the same questions you are asking. If you do your research, I think you will find that Mercury gets much better fuel mileage than the HPDI. I searched the Yamaha web site and compared their fuel economy numbers to those posted by Mercury on their web site. Mercury wins hands down. Evinrude is a distant third, and from my experience, I would strongly recommend you stay away from Evinrude regardless. The resale value of your boat with Mercury is also a big plus. Mercury will be my motor of choice now, and in the future. Good luck on your boat buying experience.

Rob,I have a 2008 P4 I am considering selling. It is loaded with 200 Opti, break-a-way tongue, trailer step and pole, detwiler hydraulic plate, am/fm cd player, and has the custom cover and 2010 Humminbird 998SI and 898SI. Email me at ][email protected] if your interested.Eric

Atlas would get my vote. Detwilers look terrible after a year of fishing on KY Lake. The part of the plate that is in the water turns color and according to Detwiler there is nothing I can do about it. Top half of the detwiler looks new, but the bottom half looks sandblasted. Atlas will be on my next Bass Cat.

I know several guys running the SHO and they all love them. I think the SHO rumors are just that “rumors”. I have no hesitation is buying a boat with the SHO. I agree with Phil on the toys fisherman “think” they need and how those toys increase the price of a boat. I did want a hydraulic jackplate because it is a big benefit fishing KY Lake, and I did want one 998 at the console. With sales tax right at 60K? Wow! And I do not mean to imply its just BCB. I priced a Z520 Ranger with the SHO and its in the same ball park. If any boat is worth that kind of money, its a Cat, but just blows my mind how prices have sky rocketed. And our government says we have no inflation? Last edited by RedCatCougar on October 22nd, 2010, 10:30 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Option 1 I have to lean towards the Mercury and that is very important I agree. VERY important. On price, I have quotes here in front of me. The SHO is exactly $1879 more as quoted to me. The SHO does have 6 years warranty and the Mercury 5 years.

I wish nothing but good luck and success to Russ in his fishing career. I doubt seriously you will hear anything negative coming from him about basscat. Pretty sad the same cannot be said about the other side.

Below is what Frank really said about my shipping costs on ebay and my reply to Frank. I am sure his family and the BCB family are very proud of Frank for conducting himself in such a manner. Question & Answer, Answered On, ||, || Q: , As someone who runs a Bass Cat boat I was interested in your jacket. As someone who works for the USPS I am not. Saying that shipping is not cheap and you are not trying to make money of the shipping is an outright lie. Depending on the zone you ship to the package will cost between $5 and $10 to ship, and you get the box for free. You can keep your jacket!, Apr-01-11, || A: , I just shipped a calcutta 200 from KY to NC in a prepaid box and it cost me $10 with USPS. But thanks for your interest. And thanks for such kind words., ||, ||

I canceled the auction. Will take the coat and give to the Salvation Army. I do not think they will complain so much. I wanted some current BCB owner to get use of a like new coat. But its not worth the hassel. Amazing.
