Well i got the call last week that the poles were in. Hauling her down to get them installed this weekend. Went with the Sportsman models and cant wait to use them. Thank you all for the input, im confident with your help i made the right choice.

Spoke with the shop this afternoon. They said they would move it to the back. Thanks for the input, it made me nervous to think i could be running across the lake hit a roller and thing go crashing down in the bilge. Thats why i enjoy this forum so much. Any worry or concern an owner may have can throw it out there for input from fellow enthusiasts. Thank you guys!

I had the same scenario on an Evinrude back in the day. It would idle just fine and once i put the throttle to it the motor would struggle and eventually die out. One thing i did was had my better half in the cockpit and i would go back and squeeze the bulb and the rude would want to run. I changed out the fuel line and bulb thinking air leak somewhere, turns out it was a bad fuel pump. Once i changed out the pump, she ran as good as a rude can all the way to the day i sold it.
