Richard at service has been very helpful. As of right now the charger is getting sent to noco tomorrow I dont think its been charging the batteries fully since Ive had the boat. And other than getting some more ring terminals and a small length of 10 gauge wire I think it might be getting enough power to the hummingbirds for them to work right. I really dont like how water stays in the bottom of the boat I think this has a lot to do with the electrical issues the boat is having now. From my understanding the newer boats use a tin wire instead of copper and the trolling motor connections are soldered and heat shrinked. I think I might take the time to soldier and heat shrink all of the connections in the bilge.
I think the water is causing corrosion on the unprotected electrical connections.
This is how I fixed my seats. It is a piece of 1/4″x3″ piece of alum I tapped it bolted and riveted it from the underside. I also glued it down with some black rtv. I also tapped it where the little screw in plugs things go. It may not be pretty but its not ripping out any time soon. Sorry for the crappy pic.
I built this mount to move the ole hbird from behind the steering wheel. I got tired of hunching over the steering wheel while searching for hogs.
Its just some 1/8″ alum I had left over from a sign I built. I cut it out and had my buddie weld it up for me. I also made the little white piece out of some epoxy to keep the unit from rotating.
Its on my 2013 pll
Its at rockwall marine now.

MeanV2 wrote:When I traded for a Bass Cat I talked to 4 or 5 dealers. Some told me straight up they were not interested in a trade, others made it pretty obvious from the price they gave me but were willing to sell me a boat while allowing me to give them mine. LOL!! I finally found a dealer that would trade with me for a figure I could live with. I have traded with him twice with no complaints. If I decide to trade again you can bet I will check with Sherm first!Dan. Awesome will give them a call in the am.

Give them a call and see what they can doYea I saw that. I dont want help finding a home for this boat. But Im gonna call them an see f they can offer me a trade in and possibly save a couple grand on taxes.
Until they post a video like power pole its not even a consideration for me.
Heard the bite was early. Congrats on a big win.
I bet that fortrex will drag her through or over just about anything. Just make sure you have a strap on it when it gets rough.
Im in a 13 pantera II. I will push it really hard and it will fly. When I have a partner in it they have a hard time staying in their seat so I have to trim almost all the way down and just let it plow. I think it runs 1.5 to 2.5 better the faster I go its just that 3 to 4 roller thrown in there that makes it soar. I think if I had some better oh yeah handles and a way for the passenger to brace himself with his feet he would be able to handle it. But I am also planning for the future and know that my back wont take this forever.
I just got the lower water pickup blocked off. Call chuck at service marine. Or Steven at r&r. Gonna pick it up this morning. Hopefully my battleship is a little more bubba proof now.
