I was afraid that you might say a Sabre because I dont know if this will boat is well suited for the Potomac, Delaware, Champlain, and maybe even Erie. I was hoping a Pantera would fit but sounds like it will probably be ridiculously tight or may not fit all. :0(

Yes something is a miss. The smartcraft gauge has an alarm at the top right and the engine icon on the bottom right. A few more details from yesterdays first voyage. I tried to hole shot out of some thick grass (probably a big no no huh?), but the water did come out fine to the side of the engine after that. There were several instances where it felt like the prop was stuck or was not spinning freely as I tried to get on plane. Also at 4K rpm I would get an audible alarm not sure if it continued once I blew past it or stopped after that. I read somewhere that there is a break in mode, could I have accidentally turned it on? Also in the same thread I read about overspeed? What is that and could this be the issue? Tks.

Hi. I am in Northern NJ. Yes I did get my speed issue resolved. It was a disconnected Throttle arm. I havent taken it out yet again as I was waiting for my power pole pump to cone back. However I may take her out tomorrow for a bit. Anyway what size did you order? And approximately how much are these Aurora covers? Thanks.

John saved me a ton of cash when I needed to replace my alternator on my 200 optiplex. I would not hesitate to use him again.

OK got a bigger problem now. I got a new switch and the old switch would not come off. So I tried to pry it off and accidentally touched the negative with the positive now the lights, fish finder, etc dont work. Where the heck is the fuse?

Yup faulty circuit breaker. That will teach me to disconnect the battery when messing with the master power switch duh.

So will any V6 do? Or do I have to target after a certain year and a particular gear ration? My budget was right around $10K and I was looking at 2007 – 2009 Ford F150s. But I would much rather get a smaller sized truck like a V6 to tow the boat but yet still be able to take the family with me as well.
