I understand both points 1 & 2 but #3 about too large a prop confuses me. My boat blows out just as it breaks over, I let off and hit it again and it hooks up and does fine. It has done this on every prop I have run: 26P & 27P Tempest and 26P Trophy. This is on a 05 Classic with a 05 DFI Yamaha. I thought a larger prop would just bog down.

If your not getting proper lubrication then I would have to believe your alarm would sound off. It sounds to me that you are ok but I am no mechanic. Old Timer or Sherm I’m sure can shead some light on your issue.

There are fuses in your truck that are in line with the trailering harness. Check under your hood for the fuse panel and there are fuses in there for the trailer wiring harness. Brian Hash

You will have to make the hole larger if you go to a 7″ screen unit. I used a roto zip to cut the fiberglass and it cut it easily. Just make sure to use masking tape at the cut out area to reduce chipping. Brian Hash

I have a 05 Classic and dont have the problems you are discribing. I leave the trailer in the water to where the water is almost to the flat top part of the fender ( tandem axel ). I run a Tempest prop and can push the boat on the trailer with ease. I have heard if you run a Trophy it is harder to load. Brian Hash
