BCB/ALL. O.K. Ive been running the boat the last three weekends and I think the motor is set correctly?? There is a good bit of torque/pull to the right at med – high speed, and when I let off the throttle the boat twists to the left. The boat tops out at 5200 rpms. Could it be the prop, too much bite?. 23P Trophy. The boat also chine walks really bad.Im not worried about getting every last mph out of the boat; however, I do want it performing as efficiently as possible. Also, the oil resevoir on the motor is not filling itself from the resevoir in the bottom of the boat. The alarm keeps going off about every 45 minutes of operation. How do I get it to reprime itself?Any suggestions out there.Thanks

My prop has the adjustable plugs, I plan on switching them around and see what works best. What about the RPMs? Would I need to go with less pitch to get the RPM s above 5,100?

Thanks for the info. I may remove a plug or two from the prop and see what happens to the hole shot. BCB, is this the correct prop for this boat? I love this boat, just trying to make it better.

Yes, I have tried different motor heights. I think its in the correct place after discussing with BCB. Im thinking about removing a couple of the vent plugs to help increase rpms at holeshot. Thanks for the response.

Thanks Mark,I purchased the boat about 15 months ago. At that time I tinkered with the motor height and never saw an increase on either end of the spectrum. I never thought about the holeshot rpms and will check next time I go out. The compression at the time of purchase was around 125 per cylinder. I think the venting will definately help the holeshot, I am now trying to improve the top end some. I dont want to risk hurting the engine but I would like around 5,400 rpms if possible. Im going to check the engine height and maybe experiment with that again. Thanks
