Looked at the vent holes which i guess are the holes between the blades and 2 of them i can stick my finger in and one has a rubber peice in it. Any more information on venting and PVS plugs would be helpful.

its a optimax but the soot has come from the couple hours i have ran the boat hoping its just the plugs mentioned that it could be the fuel rails but i am not sure of how much $ that is to get changed

Got the call from the boat shop today and was all good news, said after changing the plugs that the motor was was running really strong and he got up to 73 on gps on a short run and hole shot was good am excited to get to run the boat with full power

going to pick up some quickleen when i pick the boat up wont have to worry bout the boat idling too much anymore i do most of my fishing on the tombigbee river so its going to get run ha ha

took to the mech today will know something Monday. brewcat my smartcraft gauge dims when I try to crank now too. Thanks for the help hoping I did not blow it up before I even get to fish a tourny out of it ha ha

read your old post sherm and wish I had known that beforehand water temp was around 50 so that could be it but I sure hope not

Found out yesterday that the number 2 cylinder failed. They are going to to open the enginge up and see how much damage there is to the cylinder wall .

have heard good things about okissa and it is also right close to where I will be reporting to work everyday

Thanks for the info tideman and doug that is deeper than I am used too but I will adjust I hope. Might take you up on the showing around sometime doug, I used to work with the fisheries biologist that helped design okissa should be able to get a idea where they put some of the deep structure. Will keep a eye out for yalls cats I will be in a white with black bolt p3, thanks again.

Yea got all new injectors, thanks for the help i understand better now. The mech told me it would run double oil on its on. Also curious is it ok to run quickleen during the break in period?
