try down here in fl. Water in the upper 80s or worse. Somehow the better anglers are still getting close to 30lb or better on a 5 fish limit. Not me
i put the ptsv on my new rig. I had a mk with auto & copilot & loved it. It was not infoulable but stil great. Used a wrist mount fob & no foot pedal and loved that to. Sounds like in the deep canals here in fl that the ptsv will work great. Dont think so for the flats but thats ok. Thats what the push poll is for anyway. As far as the cost this sucker better work dependibly
Windex contains amonia which I believe is very bad for acrylic. I would only clean that or touch it with something specified for acrylic. Im in plAstic recycling for many years. We are aware of that floridaj, though our testing showed no ill effects. You are correct in that it is not suggest by the Mfgs. Though Silicone is and we found the carrying agent in Silicone to cause damage if it was an off brand slicone spray. Also, this is actually Rons (Pierce) field from way back. He once was a lab technician and plastics engineer for a major company, and was in charge of extruders and established one of the original PVC pipe production facilities in the country in the early 60s.He worked in the lab on many products we now use before they were produced and patented, including the product your fuel tanks and carpet are produced from.
I would imagine that the tanks are made of an hmwpe material & carpet is either nylon or polyester. Does the plant generate much plastic waste? Very interesting about mr P. My rails are stainless i believe so its moot point for me. I was trying to be helpful so take care of that plastic folks
Thanks Judd.
You guys got that right about no sleep for sure. Should be cool. Gonna take her right out in lake Okechobee there and then. I will report in the afternoon. I will will send Jebb those pics. Maybe i can find the fish better or at least blow away some nitro!
boat looks great. We ran okeechobee for the hour breakin with 3 of us in the boat. We ran 3500-4500rpm trim down. Steering was not easy with the trim down. I trimed up for a bit and got to 50mph on gps. Hole shot was scary compared to the 40 up tracker I ran before this. With trim down we did list starboard a bit. Of would correct when I trimed up. Sucker does feel like a go cart on steroids! The 175prosx is the deal for sure. Now the bad stuff. Firstly 19.6 on the length was wrong and it screwed me up bad. I had to knock dry wall out to fit it in my garage. The trolling motor hung like 4 inches over the bow and had to be reinstalled by the dealer. I was told this would not be the case by the factory. It also came with the eladder instead of the real boarding ladder I ordered. I guess I have to pay for my wall repair? Do I leave it plugged in all the time when not in use?
its a new trailer for the sabre. I have the long thin master lock pin lock and it doesnt fit and lock. The trailer comes with a little unlockable little pin. Seems anyone could take that pin out, unhitch the trailer and be go with the rig. Helppppppppppppp!
what differences did you like most? What was so different?
how do you tighten the steering?
I fish the Everglades. 110 is hot but do you guys have to worry about being eaten?
My 08 sabre has that and now I know what that is for.
can i replace with rollers
Hello Basstrooper and all,I give my buddy only a few trys at going back for his rig. 3 strikes rule applies! Lucky for him he throws a worm most of the time so it doesnt cost him much pain. Not like retriving a lucky craft you know. I always get his goat and tell him he needs to practice in his pool or something. There was that one time his entire rod wnet over the side and I would not stop. KARMA! My $170 KVD setup went over the very next week just as I was taking the frog hook out of a lunker. It slpipped under slowly and silently. SUCKED! I had to order a new setup the very next day I was so upset. Back to my buddy, maybe someone could tell him the gas aint free either! He is a good fishin buddy though and always shows up on time and is ready to go. I guess I cant complain because I cant get anyone else to go with me in the gator infested waters of the everglades. When they run those pumps and that water starts moving it becomes a horror movie out in the Loxahatchee. I have got to post a picture for you all to see. Im talking 12 footers and biger all over the place. DO NOT FALL OFF THE BOAT DUDE! Next time out expect some pics of this horror show Im talking about. Not my buddy but the gator fellas. ps: Any tips on getting the old lady in the boat? My wife is stubborn. I shouldnt complain since she is a huge footbal fan and we watch football all Sunday long. 1pm game till the night game and Monday start to fisnish. I will shut up now boys.
my rubber stock bow stop doesnt roll and is crushed from the boat resting on it. I also have bow damage due to sliding into the groove. East to do when that bow stop is so soft. I will be replacing with a large urethane one. I guess I have get the damage fixed. I will also install a stainless steel bow protector. It does need to be contoured to fit as it comes flat with adhesive on one side. Perhaps BCb can help with that if I send it to the factory?
