As nice as these boats are it can be difficult at times. I havent heard much about the Verado yet. I know it is substantially more money and wasnt sure if it is worth it. Maybe I should stay with the 250xs.??

Wow. Thanks for all of the responses. Personally, I would give up a few (couple) mph for the quiet ride. I fish a few bodies of water that can get rough at times (Potomac River) so dependablity is a big factor for me as well. I am looking forward to the seeing the Pops Marine lineup at the show (what use to be Bassarama) this weekend. I hope to make one of the “Owners Invitationals” in the near future and hope to be able to contribute to other comments and/or questions in the forum. Good fishing everyone. It will be here before you know it.

Thanks for the info. I think I will try the Everstart batteries and just replace them more often.

Thanks for the response. No altitude issues. Does have a hot foot. I have verified no plugs in prop. Motor is 250 Pro XS. Throttle position sounds interesting because I do not feel as though I am getting everything out of the motor. I have never owned a 250 before but the 225 that I owned felt like it had considerably more power out of the hole. Thanks to you both again!
