I dont tow a glass boat, but, this summer I towed a dual axle U Haul trailer full of furniture from Montreal to Allentown. It might not have weighed as much as a sabre, but was far less aerodynamic. I had no problems and was very impressed. I think the Ridgeline/Sabre combo would offer no problems as long as you have trailer brakes.
Great job, looks like a great time and a lot of fun. Thanks for posting.
Two things: Good hook that will hold its edge, and cheap price so Im not afraid to throw them anywhere. I only use two or three colors, and I use the trailer to make color “adjustments”.
I will usually swap out for short shank round bend trebles in the next largest size. Eagle Claw, Gammy, VMC, or Mustad are all OK as far as Im concerned.
Get barber scissors for cutting hair, a pair of friskars (their fishing siccors are the same as their craft scissors), or get a pair of scissors/forceps or fly tying scissors from a fly shop. Those have all worked for, and been lost by, me
I think the sooner B.A.S.S. forgets about NASCAR the better off well all be. They need to go back to pushing to be a National orgainisation, try hard to restablish B.A.S.S. on the West Coast by creating Western Opens. Then add a East and West tournament series between the Opens and the Elites, and run two or three Elites on western water. They should also cover the Opens on TV.
Is it blue and white because its a dua console?
How many casts did your Dad make before he helped you get back in the boat?

Fiberglass cloth and resin is a composite.
It should be an easy fix….all you gotta do is reach inta that big hole …….
It was refreshing to see Ike fishing from an un-wrapped BassCat. It would be great (but highly unlikely) to see them go back to plain boats

Isnt the World Record for Stripped Bass somewhere around 76lbs caught from the surf in Atlantic City late 70s early 80s?
