Water temps are varying right now, but are generally around 50 -52. Weather has been really warm lately and the wind is warming and stirring the water real well. The bite is very good right now. Jerkbaits are taking most of the fish, and the most dependable pattern seems to be on the channel swings which are adjacent to spawning areas. The fish are moving in very predictable pre-spawn patterns and locations. Slowing down and fishing jigs is producing some better fish in the same areas. Considering the conditions of a year ago to date (30 feet high), anglers for the OI are in for a great tourney and the fishing is going to be great. We have two cabins remaining for the tournament. Come on up and enjoy the great time we have here with all the Bass Catters. God Bless, Doug Sunrise Point Resort Lake Norfork 888-887-7878 ][email protected]

We have one cabin remaining at Sunrise Point— it is a two bedroom. We are five minutes from take-off, and have a very nice covered 28 foot slip for your cat. Feel free to give us a call if you have not found accommodations yet. 888-887-7878 http://www.SunrisePointResort.com ][email protected] Thanks, Doug

Spring rains have been kind. The water is fluctuating around the 552 mark which is normal pool. It is about 30 feet lower than the OI last year. The fishing is excellent right now and when tourney time gets here, it will be excellent timing. BCB did a great job of scheduling the dates for this years OI. Doug Sunrise Point Resort Lake Norfork

Customer service is systemic at BCB. Rick sets an example, that quite frankly, becomes the standard. Leadership is about “Follow me, as you see me do” NOT: “Do as I say and not as I do”. The entire staff of BCB is top of the line, and the customer is first. You are treated as though YOU are the owner of the company. Doug

How did you resolve the fuel pump/VRO issues? Did you also replace the helm with the cables as posts encouraged? Interested in the boat– just wanting more information. e-mail direct at ][email protected]

Having lived in Northern MN for 8years there are a few more items to do. Get a couple gallons of pink RV anitifreeze and circulate it in your livewell and blilge pumps. Any residual water in the pumps will crack them if they freeze. Toss a little in the bilge area for good measure as well. Make sure there is no moisture in the steering mechanics that can freeze and bind as well. If it is sea star, no problem. The rest is SOP for an outboard in any state. Doug

I guess Im wrong. Its your boat. Doug Doug, Your not wrong, though on a recent 20 year or younger BCB model the lines all drain and the winter situations were planned for. We know you have been watching this board for a while since your post on the Invitational we saw last year. And you know how many frozen pump issues you have seen. If it were an issue, you would see plenty. Just something that the internal design of BCB planned for. BCB Admin.Last edited by sunrisepoint on October 4th, 2009, 2:24 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Hey Puma,We have a couple of cabins left here at Sunrise Point Resort. We are only five minutes from take-off as the resort is just south of the bridge and Robinson Point. We have a great group of Bass Cat guys here for the tourney, and our dock is a modern steel dock with 28 foot slips and electricity at each slip. Give us a look at http://www.SunrisePointResort.comDoug
