I agree…NELAs is pretty good looking. My Cougar is pretty close but a little bit of a twist on the cap and trim stripe and of course I am a little partial to mine. But like someone else said, I havent seen an ugly Cat . 2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

I love it…everyone thinks the way I do…what about the fish?! We went to Falcon in late February so we were maybe a little early for the full blown spawn but we did catch some good fish. We had a 9.9, a 8.10, 2 7s, and several 5s and 6s. Obviously we did not do as well as most of those guys this past weekend but we caught a lot of fish and a few really good ones. The other thing to mention is that when people say the fish down there fight harder than any others they have ever caught might be an understatement. It is amazing how hard they pull. Just be prepared for the wind. Back to the wax, are there any tips to offer when waxing? Since I have never been on Toledo I am not sure what part of the lake I would prefer except to say we live in Houston and would prefer the TX side (shorter drive with a 3 month old). That is maybe one of the best video clips I have ever seen. Second only to riding in a fighter jet, this goes on my list of things to do before I die (that I know I wont ever get to do) ride with guy for a couple of laps around that track! Thanks for the info. It helps to have as much info as you can before making a purchase this size and it seems that for the most part there will be no trouble. Another question I have is can you upgrade the software on the 997 to make it the equivalent to the 998? I currently am running an LMS 520C at both bow and console and I will mount this at the console and really only use it for the down imaging and side imaging. And if you can upgrade the software, do you have to upgrade anything else, such as the transducer?Thanks again for the help,Tony2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS
