According to the previous owner, the boat came with a 26 Raker. He said it would not come out of the hole and took it back to the dealer who put a 23 renegade on it. Since I was unable to borrow and try a prop I spent alot of time speaking with other folks, basscat owners, pantera owners, and even contacted the factory. After all was said and done the concensus swayed me to go with the tempest. Is there anything else I can try to do to get this setup to work, or does it sound like I have exhausted all options? If so, anyone interested in a brand new tempest 25? Thanks, Justin

I forgot to ask, BCB you said I might want to try a 24 to get the rpms where I want them? I am turning 5800 – 5850, is that not where I need to be? Thanks Again, Justin

I am not sure what boat you have, but I slide mine in against the throw cushion, in the center step, between the seats. Fits great and its right by the livewell.

On Saturday, after getting back from the lake, I went to back the boat in the garage and guess what? It had other plans. This was after putting in and taking out, and backing into a buddies driveway not 15 min. earlier. Only fitting for the kind of day I had. Anyway, I disconnected the trailer lights/adapter and used the manual blockout. I have checked the connections, fuses, wires, fluid, lights, etc. and havent found the problem yet. The trailer brake lights work so I assume the adapter plug/wires are fine. Is there anything else someone could recommend to try? I dont want to let it sit at the shop if I dont have to. I think it might be the solenoid; would this be covered under warranty? Its an 07 and I think it has a 5 yr. warranty? Thanks

Is there a hat that fits a big head? I ordered a trophy hat and it only fits about half way down my head. Any body else have any of the other hats?
