I never really thought that BCB would respond to this. I was very angry Friday night and was just trying to vent on this to spare my family the drama. Thanks for your response. Incidently, I have family in Memphis, TN and at this point would be more than willing to bring the boat down there and leave it with you for a while if that be needed. I honestly dont think that I can handle another season like this. Evinrude did send a rep down the last time the power head went and he looked at it. The only thing he said was that the back 2 tanks did not feed evenly and one was sucking air and advised me not to use them. I told him that I had only used them once and that was at the owners Inv. About 3 months later is when the lower unit went out and I was told that they had a new lower unit because the one on my boat was not strong enough and that Evinrude had a new one out that was improved. When I picked it up I was told that I had the same kind was put back on my boat because they were not putting the new ones on the 225s until they were out of the current inventory. As far as Lowrance…..I bought a Hummingbird..lol Still have 2 lowrances on the boat and looking to change one of them out now. Thanks again and I will keep in touch.

I had to replace my solenoid and bleed my brakes. It’s not too hard to do. Fixed my problem.

ok let me clarify….. sorry about that. the center cap that says Ultra…Round plastic chrome peice… The are gone.. Not used as steps, They came off somewhere between Guntersville and Cleveland TN. I just replaced one on the left side about 2 weeks ago. I am just wondering what may be causing this. The last one I found near my road busted up near a large pothole. The grease is not real bad on the wheels, I am just wondering what might be causing this. Also the hub caps? Can I get them through BassCat?

So new calipers, rotors and pads?? I guess I was worried about not bleeding the good enough but didnt think that would cause sticking.. Where do I start?

Ok.. On the 2007 trailers for the Puma is their a specific match to the calipers and pads that I can pick up locally? I remember something about a Kia? I am going to tackle this Friday and want to have my parts ready..

I guess I should add a new post, but I want to talk to someone who has a clue about these units. I have the 797 c2 si in console and a lowrance on front. I want away from the Lowrance and want my units to comunicate. If I mark something on console I want to see it on bow. The 797 is too small if I was standing on the front and have looked at the 900 series. BUT the larger side imaging seems more pratical at the console. The 1197 is within my price range but is it an overkill? I am SO LOST!! called Humminbird and the Lady was as lost as me.. She learned that the 998 does not come with a transducer while on the phone with me…

Had rust in mine and found “gunk” in lines coming from master cylinder. I recently posted that mine was sticking…LONG Story short.. I replaced the master cylinder…. $50… all new rubber brake lines.. Local auto parts store…$84..blew out all metal lines…free… bled brakes and also had to replace splitter valve on the trailer..turned it too tight and cracked it..$5… new fluid and greased caliper pins..$0… works like NEW… went fishing….PRICELESS!!!
